Media Consent
Consent for the use of image and media
Draft for approval. This text was prepared for review and approval by FCA and has not yet been published.
As part of the school experience, photographs, videos and recordings of students may be taken during school activities and used for:
- Internal school communication (newsletters, yearbooks)
- Marketing and recruitment (website, social media, printed materials)
- Recognition and awards
- Documentation of school events
Who gives the consent
For students under 18, the consent is given by a parent or legal guardian. An educational partner cannot give it on the family's behalf.
Your choice
You may or may not authorize the use of your child's media. This authorization is not required to enrol: in the enrolment form it is an optional box. The parent permission form also asks you to confirm that you have read this page; that confirmation is required to submit that form. The system records your choice (yes or no) and the date it was given.
Duration and revocation
The authorization lasts while the student takes part in the program, unless you revoke it earlier. You may revoke it at any time by contacting FCA. After you revoke it, FCA will stop new uses and will remove the media from the channels it controls within a reasonable time. Material that has already been printed or distributed cannot be recalled.
No identification
Even with authorization, minors are NEVER publicly identified with full name, address or other information that would allow direct contact.
Personal information
Images and recordings of a student are personal information and are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
